As an entry level qualification, the CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice will give you a great foundation in all things people management, HR, and L&D. What are the requirements?

  • It’s recommended that anyone starting the CIPD Level 3 course is 16+ and educated to GCSE level, or equivalent.

Becoming a CIPD member  

Once you have started your course, our enrolment team will register you with CIPD on your behalf. To become a Student Member you will need to pay an annual Student Membership fee directly to CIPD - our team will be able to advise on the latest fees.

Monthly subscribers: You will be registered with CIPD after your 14-day free trial has ended and you submit your first formative assessment.

12-month access subscribers: You will be registered within two weeks of purchasing your product.

    CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management is for those currently working in a HR/Learning & Development management role, or anyone looking to further their career in people management. It is recommended that you have already studied a CIPD qualification at Level 3, or have relevant degree or work experience in L&D or HR.

  • As the CIPD Level 3 is a foundation course, most people consider it to be equivalent to A Levels. Once you’ve completed the Level 3 qualification, you can progress to CIPD Level 5.
