Study AAT courses online

All AAT courses and modules are covered by the StaySharp AAT subscription. This can be billed at £50 monthly, £130 quarterly or with a one-off annual payment of £450.

For each AAT unit, you will have access to a BPP-designed online workbook, exam practice kit, pre-recorded videos, and lots of practice questions and assessments - everything you need to pass the real exam.

Your StaySharp subscription includes access to all the learning resources you will need, but AAT exams and registration fees are booked separately with an AAT-approved provider and are not included in the cost of your course paid to StaySharp.

You can choose between our monthly subscription, quarterly subscription or the one-off payment option which gives you access to the same content for 12 months. If your employer is funding your course, you can download an invoice from your account.

Studying online means you have the freedom to study at your own pace. All your course materials are available from day one and can be accessed anytime, anywhere on any device. All you need is an internet connection. 

The AAT subscription is ideal for beginners with no prior accountancy experience or qualifications. It is advised to start from AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accountancy. However, if you have previous qualifications or experiences, we recommend contacting AAT to confirm if you have any exemptions.

AAT’s Professional Diploma in Accounting is a managerial accounting course. It covers budgeting, financial performance reporting, external auditing, and cash and treasury management. 

The full AAT qualification (after studying all AAT levels 2, 3 and 4) is equivalent to a relevant first-year university degree or higher diploma.

Once you’ve gained an AAT accounting qualification, you’ll be suitable for roles including assistant accountant, junior accountant, VAT bookkeeper, junior auditor and more. You can use your AAT qualification to climb the accountancy career ladder from an entry-level role to a high-level accountancy job.

All individual AAT levels take an average of around 6-18 months to complete, though this varies depending on how many hours you’re able to dedicate to studying. StaySharp’s accounting and bookkeeping courses are designed to be studied at your own pace, so there’s no standard completion time.

Due to intellectual property laws, it’s not possible to download the majority of course materials. You’ll need an active internet connection to authenticate your account and access your learning content. However, some course videos are available to download and watch later.
