CIPD Programme Lead

Abbie Kirkham

Abbie has over 20 years corporate recruitment and HR experience and has a range of experience in the People Profession from induction training to coaching.

Her previous role was focused on developing junior talent into the recruitment industry and now uses that experience to help learners achieve their goals and developing the CIPD qualification for StaySharp.

She is a qualified teacher, CIPD qualified and has studied psychology. Her favourite topic in CIPD in wellbeing.

Fun fact – She has 4 children, 3 dogs, a cat, a horse and 2 fish! Her passion is helping others achieve their goals.

Head of AAT Programme

Nisar Ahmed

Nisar has spent most of his career within accountancy with over 30 years’ experience in education. He has taught across all of the accountancy and tax qualifications offered at BPP as well as for the Business School. He currently heads up our AAT and tax courses at BPP, being responsible for overseeing the programmes delivery, supporting clients, implementing syllabus changes and managing updates to our courseware.

He enjoys watching cricket and still has a passion for football following his favourite team, Liverpool. He went to school and played in the same football team as Paul Ince (United fans from the 1990s may remember him!).

Head of Curriculum and Development

Ashley Lawson

Ashley has followed a successful career as a litigation solicitor with 8 years in education, working to prepare paralegals, solicitors and barristers for practice.

Ashley is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a qualified solicitor and an expert in all things SQE, with a particular passion for preparing students for MCQ assessments.

Ashley coordinates a team of subject-matter experts who contribute content to StaySharp’s legal courses.

Fun fact: Ashley wants to keep pigeons but can’t find a single person who supports the idea.

Head of ACCA ＆ FIA Programmes

Clare Evans

Clare has worked in professional accountancy training for nearly 20 years. Prior to moving into education Clare trained at Grant Thornton, worked as a public sector auditor and more latterly as the Financial Director of a golf club.

Clare is ACCA qualified and studied at BPP herself.

In her previous role at BPP Clare worked as a tutor specialising in Law, Auditing and Risk Management.

Clare now works as Head of ACCA & FIA Programmes at BPP and is responsible for supporting the strategic and operational development of BPP’s ACCA & FIA products and programmes and liaison with ACCA.

Fun Fact: She teaches spin classes in her spare time and drives a bright pink VW beetle.

Head of CFA and CF programmes

Andy Williams

Andy has over 20 years working in BPP and has a passion for Education.  He is a qualified accountant, from his days working with British Airways and is also CFA qualified and has taught CFA for a number of years.

Andy is also the Head of Financial Services Professional Qualifications at BPP, looking to ensure the educational product meets and exceeds learners expectations.

Outside of work Andy loves Cycling, Skiing and Golf.

Operations and Programme Manager

Toni Williamson

Toni has over 16 years customer service experience, and strives to deliver the best customer experience to the end user.

Her previous roles included Senior and Team leader roles to work with her peers to help them grow confidence and support them in there working environment/work commitments. She now uses that experience to support her team members to achieve their goals and to support students where needed.

Toni is responsible for the day to day running of the StaySharp team, to support students on LIVE chat/email with any questions they may have and ensure that all courses are provided and updated.

Fun fact: She has 2 children, in her spare time she enjoys going on caravan holidays in her tourer caravan.

Customer and Product services administrator

Nazma Hussain

Nazma has over 10 years customer services experience, and strives to deliver the best customer experience to the end user.

In her last role, Nazma dealt with a lot of customers within the fraud department in helping them find a solution to their problem that they had at that time. Nazma dealt with issues over the phone and email directly with the end user.

Nazma's main focus on StaySharp is making sure learners have everything they need so their course on the platform is smooth sailing. Nazma will support the students via Live chat or through email. Nazma also manages marking for CIPD assignments. Her favourite thing about StaySharp is getting to know the students through chats and watching them achieve their goal.

Fun Fact: She has 2 kids, loves traveling has lived abroad and has great people finding skills.
